CMF provides one-stop solution to Communication - Development challenges through cost-effective Communication Strategy, Action Plan and Implementation.
Dr. J. S. Yadav, Professor and former Director of the premier national institute, Indian Institute of Mass Communication is the mentor of CMF.He brings to CMF 30 years’ experience of research, teaching and training in communication and development sector covering health, education, gender equity issues and challenges.
About the Society
Strategic Communication Intervention is the key to behaviour change and development.
In pursuance of this, a group of media professionals and development specialists joined hands to register Communication Management Foundation (CMF) as a registered society under Society Registration Act in Delhi NCR.
Dr. J. S. Yadav, Professor & former Director of the premier national institute, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, is the mentor of CMF.
Year of Establishment
CMF has office in Delhi and Gurugram, NCR and sets up camp offices in project states.
CMF has TV Studio & Conference Hall with video camera and editing facilities, Computers for data analysis, a Library and Cabins for the staff / counselling.
To enhance our production capabilities we have a MOU with the Genesis Media Production (P) Ltd.

CMF provides research evidence based technical support for strategic communication intervention for cost-effective and impactful planned development.
CMF has 21 years of experience in research, advocacy, capacity building, process documentation, developing strategic plans, and designing IEC materials. Our forte is in providing research evidence-based inputs for effective one-stop solutions to development issues and challenges.
Over the years CMF has provided cost effective technical support to many national, bilateral and multilateral agencies in their development programs across many states and regions of India covering different health, education and development sectors. These include: Reproductive Child Health (RCH), RMNCH + A, Family Planning, HIV /AIDS, Gender & Social Equality, Water & Sanitation, prevention and control of Polio, Malaria, Tuberculosis and non-Communicable Diseases, and Public Education about Road Safety, Consumer Protection, Safe Medicines and Environment.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To study and analyze the Communication and Development processes and their implications for public good specially of the weaker section.
To provide research evidence based solutions to communication and development challenges for cost effective and impactful planned development, specially in the context of the underprivileged sections of the society and contribute to attainment of SDGs 2030 agenda in India.
