Dr. SUNEETA MUKHERJEE - Senior Development Administrator

As Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Dr. Suneeta Mukherjee served Himachal Pradesh and Government of India before joining United Nations in 1995 in many senior positions and handled many social development projects in India and other developing countries.

Dr. Suneeta Mukherjee is known for her strength in advocacy and IEC. She has worked as UNFPA representative in Sri Lanka and Maldives (1995-2000), in Bangladesh (2000 - 2006) and in Philippines (2006 -2010). She led the UN country team to break the Guinness book of records for 2 consecutive years in the UN Millennium campaign. She drafted the SAARC youth charter recently and is working as a part-time consultant after retirement in Gender, Youth and RH.
